The MonSter Chronicles
45Once upon a time.....
I had a career with growth potential. I could and would frequently put in 48 hour shifts without a second thought. I used to work in high stress, high temperature environments on a daily basis. I excelled on keeping order during chaos in a kitchen that would put Chef Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen to shame. I was good at what I did and it earned me good money. I was engaged. I had afutre. Life looked like it was heading towards "The Dream" at full throttle. But a MonSter was looming in the darkness.

This short story is true for hundreds of thousands of people in the United States. MS can surely take away your ability to do the things you love. Another disease is the instituion of the "get a new career", "go back to school" push of the current administration, which has ruined the lives of many people... taken away what we love to do, what we spent years to be educated to do, what we have Wisdom to do... a nation without Wisdom will eventually fall, won't it?!
I Hope you are able to use the Wisdom you acquired from your Chef career to give back to what you love, HarryMora!
Sorry I left readers up in the air. Just the writer in me serializing the events that led to my fight against this MonSter. I will arrive quickly I assure you. In the meantime you may see a little of yourself or gain some insight.

I probably may know that you can be a good chef but in your article here, what monster are you referring to? Is it yourself?
